Pearl Couscous and Sausages in One Pot
Ingredients
- 1 package sausages
- 1 package uncooked pearl couscous
- 1 large onion
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder / crushed garlic
- 1 large tablespoon tomato paste
- half teaspoon salt
- water water to cover the couscous
Preparation
Start by finely slicing the onion and frying it until golden, meanwhile cut the sausages into small cubes and add them to the fried onion.
Fry until the sausages are slightly browned,
add the spices and fry everything together for a minute.
Add the package of pearl couscous and mix well.
Add water to the height that covers the couscous and the sausages,
add the tomato paste and mix again.
The trick to lump-free pearl couscous is to bring it to a boil, turn off the heat, and stir with a fork every few minutes.
Bon appétit (;
