Homemade Fruit Liqueur
Ingredients
- 1 kilo fruit
- 1 kilo sugar
- cup brandy
Preparation
Steep the fruit and sugar in a sealed jar for fermentation for two weeks.During fermentation, gases form and pressure builds up in the jar. Release the pressure by setting the jar lid on top of the jar rather than screwing it on.
Do not open the jar during the two weeks so that no air gets in.
After two weeks, add the brandy, shake the jar and seal it for two days.
Strain the liquid and add brandy or not according to taste, depending on whether you want a stronger drink or not.
