Rice Paper Rolls Filled with Vegetables and Breadcrumb Coating
Ingredients
- For the filling: 1 Sweet potato
- 1 Large onion
- Half Cabbage
- 1 teaspoon Honey
- 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 Chili
- For the coating: 1 Egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Rice paper sheets
Preparation
Cut all the vegetables into thin strips.Sauté the onion and sweet potato in a wok with a little oil, and when the onion starts to caramelize, add the cabbage and keep stir-frying until the cabbage reduces.
Add the honey, soy sauce and chili and mix well for about 10 minutes, until the sweet potato is soft.
In a slightly deep dish, pour warm water and carefully dip one rice paper sheet. Place it on a flat plate or countertop, put a little of the vegetable mixture in the center and fold closed.
Then dip each filled roll in a beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs, and place on parchment paper in a baking pan. Bake at 200 degrees until nicely browned and crispy.
##It's best to bake right before serving so the crispiness is preserved.
##You can add any vegetables you like.
## Those who like fried food can try it - I haven't tried it ?
