Homemade Popsicles
Ingredients
- 2 peeled bananas
- 4 dates
- 2 tablespoons raw tahini
- 4 tablespoons water
- for decoration; half a package of milk/dark/white chocolate
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- candies
Preparation
*For sturdy popsicles, I recommend making them with a water base. You can make them from any fruit mixture you like.
I like to make them with a water base, so they come out sturdy and nice.
You can use orange juice, almond milk, apple juice and more instead of water..
Peel the bananas,
remove the pits from the dates.
Place in a blender together with the tahini and water.
Blend everything together.
Transfer to popsicle molds with a stick, and place in the freezer.
If you don't have popsicle molds, you can use disposable cups (after it starts to freeze slightly, insert the stick. So it stays sturdy in the middle).
Decoration:
Once the popsicles are fully frozen - preferably after a night in the freezer.
Remove from the mold / from the cups.
Melt chocolate and cream in short bursts in the microwave.
Decorate the popsicles, add candies
Place on baking paper / on the tray and return to the freezer.
Minimum one hour.
