Fruit or Jam Tartlets
Ingredients
- package thawed phyllo dough
- 100 grams soft butter
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams almond flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- assorted fruit
- assorted jams
Preparation
The phyllo dough should be thawed but cold.Cut a square of dough, plus another frame of dough. Place the dough frame on top of the dough square, and prick the middle with a fork so the center doesn't puff up and a kind of box is formed (see the picture below).
Prepare the almond cream:
Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time and continue creaming.
Finally fold in the almond flour.
Add the vanilla extract.
Assemble the tartlets:
Fill the center of each dough square with the almond cream.
Top with fruit or jam.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes, until the dough is browned.
They can be stored in the fridge and reheated in the microwave for a few minutes; they come out tasting fresh.
