- For the sauce: 1 Large onion
- half teaspoon Nutmeg
- 2 Cooking cream
- a little butter For frying
- optional to add Mushrooms / sweet potato cubes
- 6-7 Potatoes
- yellow cheese Grated
Preparation
Wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil and place them in the oven at 250°C (480°F), preferably on a turbo / grill setting.Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.
Melt a little butter and sauté the onion until it becomes translucent.
•If you like, add small cubes of sweet potato / mushrooms.
Add the cream with 2 tablespoons of milk and cook over low heat until the sauce reduces.
Check the potatoes with a skewer / toothpick.
When they are fully softened, carefully take them out of the oven and cut them lengthwise and in half through the middle.
Mash them slightly into a purée, and you can sprinkle salt and pepper on top.
Spoon the prepared white sauce over them and sprinkle grated yellow cheese on top.
Place them back in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts and browns slightly on top.
You can serve with yogurt and a leafy salad.
Bon appetit ;)
