Pink Sauce Pasta (Rosé)
Ingredients
- 4-5 Grated tomatoes / large can of crushed tomatoes.
- 1 and a half tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water (better than pasta cooking water, but regular water works too)
- 1 large onion
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- a little oil/butter for frying
- 1 small cooking cream
- salt and pepper
- onion soup powder - optional
- 1 package pasta (500 grams)
- Upgrade option: half a cup of mozzarella/parmesan cheese grated
Preparation
Finely chop the onion and garlic.Sauté the onion in a little butter/oil until golden.
Add the garlic and continue to sauté for a few more minutes, so the flavors blend together.
*Important not to over-fry the garlic, so it doesn't turn bitter.
Add the tomatoes together with the paste and water and mix well.
Add the spices and mix..
Add the cream and finally the cheese (if desired).
Cook over low heat until the sauce thickens slightly, then turn off the heat.
Prepare the pasta in a pot with boiling water and salt.
Bon appétit.
